KRR partnered with Aunt Flow, a period organization invested in social cases, in the beginning of 2021. Aunt Flo is currently the main distributor of menstrual products for the city of San Diego and has plans to expand their operations to other cities across the U.S. Their end campaign goal is to ensure equitable and easy access to menstrual products in all public spheres across the U.S.

The Kurdish Refugee Relief Foundation (KRR) executed its second distribution of menstrual hygiene items in Bardarash Camp, Erbil on June 9th, 2021. This distribution was the result of partnerships with Aunt Flow and with the Women Helping Women Foundation. Over one hundred refugees received much needed menstrual health products during this distribution. We were also able to collect valuable data from the recipients of our distribution and explore the possibility of more sustainable options for menstrual health products.
